KRV
KRV high-efficiency hypoid gear units
KRV are two- and three-stage gear units with a hypoid gear set, offered in five frame sizes (050–110) with output torque up to 750 Nm. Efficiency reaches 92% versus about 60% for a worm unit of the same size, and the mounting dimensions match NMRV worm gearboxes for easy replacement.

Features
- Efficiency up to 92% (2-stage) and 90% (3-stage) — 10–40% higher than a worm gearbox
- Mounting dimensions compatible with NMRV (some NMRV050 dimensions differ)
- 20CrMnTi gears, carburised and nitrided to 58–62 HRC surface hardness, precision ground
- Light die-cast aluminium housing (050–090); grey cast iron housing for size 110
- Modular design: hollow shaft, single or double output shaft, output flanges FA–FE, torque arm
- Input: IEC flange, compact MV motor, NEMA flange, servo motor or input shaft (HS)
- Quiet, smooth running; can be installed in any position
- Painted RAL 7035 grey or RAL 5010 blue after shot blasting and phosphating
